Q: What type of materials do you use for the trusses and joists?
We use the most sustainable and highest grade softwood available (TR26), for all of our products. Timber sizes vary depending on span size and pitch. We can also provide untreated or treated prices for our products. This is down to personal preference and site circumstances. There is usually a 7-10% increase in price if treated timbers are required.

Q: What are the advantages to using treated timbers?
Treated timbers are used in cases where the products will be exposed to the elements or are in the vicinity of buildings that have a history of fungal or insect attack. If the products are exposed to the elements they will have a better chance of retaining their structural characteristics if treatment is used.

Yes. We have a team of highly skilled joiners/installers and in most cases our teams can work within your build schedule. We usually ask if you would like us to quote for this upon your initial enquiry.
